Their connection was immediate\u2014and it changed both of their lives.<\/p>\n<p><strong>How They Met and What Made the Relationship Different<\/strong><br \/>\nBrittany said the biggest difference with Matt was feeling accepted from the start:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>She had been told in previous relationships that she would be\u00a0<strong>dumped<\/strong>\u00a0if she didn\u2019t diet or slim down.<\/li>\n<li>Those experiences damaged her\u00a0<strong>self-confidence<\/strong>\u00a0and pushed her to try changing her body for others.<\/li>\n<li>She later realized she didn\u2019t want to change herself to match someone else\u2019s idea of beauty.<\/li>\n<li>Meeting Matt helped her feel loved\u00a0<strong>for who she is<\/strong>, without conditions.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Matt\u2019s Perspective: Confidence Was the Attraction<\/strong><br \/>\nMatt, who weighs\u00a0<strong>140lb<\/strong>, said Brittany\u2019s\u00a0<strong>body-positive confidence<\/strong>\u00a0stood out immediately.
